Sunflower Seeds

Butter | Paste
Reduce sunflower seeds into a free flowing nut butter or paste. The DM380 can also be used to produce coarse to fine sunflower seed products including ‘homestyle’ nut and seed butters. The Comitrol Disc Mill 380 (DM380) can be used as a high-capacity pre-mill in conjunction with one of the Comitrol Processor machines to produce a smooth finished product.

1/32 to 1/4″ (0.8 to 6.4 mm) particles from a wide selection of cutting head sizes. Capacity is 2,000 lb (900 kg) of 1/16″ (1.6 mm) particles hourly using 3,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed and 17″ cutting enclosure.

The 9310 offers a built-in HMI and features the highest capacity in the Comitrol line. The 9310 features the highest capacity with the most powerful motor combined with the largest microcut head configuration.

Chop | Granulate
The N Granulator produces sunflower seed and other types of seed granulations of 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2″ (3.2, 3.9, 4.8, 6.4, 9.5, or 12.7 mm) with set circular knife spindle spacing. Raw, blanched, or roasted product can be granulated with a minimum of fines.
