Beans (Green or Wax)

Slice
Processing of beans (green or wax) on the E TranSlicer® Cutter by Urschel such as 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2, 2-1/4, or 3″ (12.7, 19.1, 25.4, 38.1, 50.8, 57.2, or 76.2 mm) cuts. Approximate hourly capacity: 12,000 to 15,000 lb (5,400 to 6,800 kg). Suggested use of optional spring-loaded top plate hold-down assembly and use of a lane-orienting, vibratory feeder to provide proper longitudinal feeding.

Bias Slice
Process green or wax beans on the Urschel Model OC Bias Slicer. Beans are sliced at an angle of 30° or 45° to the long axis producing distinctive bias cuts. Slice thicknesses from .030 up to .120″ (.8 up to 3 mm). Approximate hourly capacity: 3,000 to 4,000 lb (1,300 to 1,800 kg). Note: OC Slicers require uniform product delivery from a conveyor or vibratory shaker which aligns beans in the direction of the feed belts. Beans must be well snipped and free from clusters or frequent obstruction will occur.

Slice
Processing of green or wax beans. The DiversaCut 2110A® Dicer may be set-up to slice beans lengthwise to create french style beans. Contact your local Urschel office to explore this set-up.

Puree
A wide range of particle sizes suitable for soups, infant feeding, and special diet requirements can be obtained from raw, canned or frozen beans. The Model 1500 equipped with a microcut head set-up for the finest degree of reduction. Chop or pregrind infeed product 1/4″ (6.4 mm) or smaller and pump into the Processor for minimum aeration.

Puree
A wide range of particle sizes suitable for soups, infant feeding, and special diet requirements can be obtained from raw, canned, frozen beans, or bean starch derivatives. Choose from a wide selection of cutting head opening sizes for particle sizes larger than 1/64″ (0.4 mm). Capacity is 7,500 lbs. (3,400 kg) of 1/16″ (1.6 mm) particles hourly using 5,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed and 17″ cutting enclosure. Use microcut head set-up for the finest degree of reduction at capacities up to 12,000 lbs. (5,500 kg) hourly using 9,300 revolutions per minute impeller speed and 30 horsepower motor. Chop or grind product 1/4″ (6.4 mm) or smaller and pump into the Processor for minimum aeration.

Puree

The 9310 offers a built-in HMI and features the highest capacity in the Comitrol line. The 9310 features the highest capacity with the most powerful motor combined with the largest microcut head configuration.
