Granulate | Slice | Strip
​The CC Slicer produces 1/32 to 1/2″ (0.8 to 12.7 mm) thick flat slices from raw, blanched or roasted almonds. Condition product with heat or moisture before slicing to reduce slice breakage. Approximate hourly capacity of 1/16″ (1.6 mm) slice, using 15 blade impeller and two horsepower motor: 5,000 lb (2,200 kg).

The Affinity® CD-L Dicer produces 2-dimensional cutting by using the appropriate circular and crosscut spindle set-up. Nuts should be properly conditioned for optimal results.

Butter | Paste
Reduce almonds into a free flowing nut butter or paste. The DM380 can also be used to produce coarse to fine almond products including ‘homestyle’ nut and seed butters. The Comitrol Disc Mill 380 (DM380) can be used as a high-capacity pre-mill in conjunction with one of the Comitrol Processor machines to produce a smooth finished product.

Single pass reduction of almonds thru the Comitrol Processor Model 9310 will produce a very fine fluid butter with minimal skin specks. The 9310 offers a built-in HMI and features the highest capacity in the Comitrol line. The 9310 features the highest capacity with the most powerful motor combined with the largest microcut head configuration.

Chop | Granulate
The N Granulator produces nut granulations of 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2″ (3.2, 3.9, 4.8, 6.4, 9.5, or 12.7 mm) with set circular knife spindle spacing. Raw, blanched, or roasted almonds can be granulated with a minimum of fines. Best results can be obtained with roasted almonds. Estimated hourly capacity: up to 1,500 lb (680 kg).
