Alfalfa processing on the Urschel Model M6. ​The belt-fed M6 2-D Dicer excels at reducing leafy products. Active feeding options include inner product guide to assist with feeding of flat or leafy products or use of a top belt assembly to keep product trajectory constant. Reduce alfalfa leaves and stems to 1/2″ (12.7 mm) or other size within the stated types of cuts given in the machine description. May be used as a precutter in tandem with the Comitrol Processor Model 3600F, 3640F, or other Comitrol Processor model.
The M6 Dicer is the precursor to the M VersaPro® Dicer (MVP). The M6 Dicer is available with a 5 HP (3.7 kW) or 10 HP (5.6 kW) single or VFD (variable frequency drive) stainless steel motor.

Coarse Puree
Reduction of alfalfa is dependent on many product characteristics. Due to variations in applications, a test cut in one of our Product Test Cutting Facilities is recommended. Contact your local Urschel office. Generally, the 3600F or 3640F may be used to produce a coarse puree.
