The Urschel display presents processors with multiple options that are ruggedly engineered to slice, dice, strip cut, shred, and more across a range of industries, including fruit and vegetable, dairy, bakery and snack, and others. Urschel Precision Cutting Solutions at FOODTECH:
- The Little Gem Aspire™ Dicer is a new Urschel cutting concept in produce processing. Engineered through extensive R&D by the Urschel Innovation and Development department, the compact dicer employs a patented StatiCut™ knife assembly and crosscut knife assembly to achieve slices ranging from 2 mm – 20 mm, dices up to 20 mm, and strip cuts. Named after the original Little Gem, the new dicer combines easy use with strong performance, expanding on its predecessor that led Urschel to become the global leader it is today.
- Designed to meet the challenges of difficult-to-cut products, the Affinity Integra® Dicer excels at processing cheese or soft meats, meats with high-fat content, cold temperature products, sticky bakery ingredients, or products like brined pickles. The dicer’s clean-cutting action achieves high yields of precise, targeted cut sizes well within customer parameters.
- The CC Slicer, the leading high-yield potato slicer across the globe, produces precise, uniform slices and shreds at high capacities for applications including potato slices, fruits, vegetables, and cheese. The CC Slicer at FOODTECH will feature a 10 HP (7.5 kW) motor.
