Butter | Paste
Reduce nuts into a free flowing nut butter or paste. The DM380 can also be used to produce coarse to fine nut products including ‘homestyle’ nut and seed butters. The Comitrol Disc Mill 380 (DM380) can be used as a high-capacity pre-mill in conjunction with one of the Comitrol Processor machines to produce a smooth finished product.

The Comitrol® Processor Model 1700 when equipped with a Microcut Head or Comitrol® Processor Model 1500 will produce a wide range of particle sizes at capacities of 1,500 to 3,500 lbs. (680 to 1,500 kg) hourly either as a primary or finishing mill for a variety of nut butters/pastes including peanut, almond, and cashew.
The Comitrol® Processor Model 1700 when equipped with a Microcut Head or the Comitrol® Processor Model 1500 may be used to produce a wide variety of nut milks including almond milk production, walnut milk production, or cashew nut production. Depending on viscosity of infeed product and desired particle size requirements, 2 passes may be required. Capacity of 15 to 20 gallons (57 to 76 liters) per minute. Characteristics of nuts and water-to-nut ratio are also processing factors.

Reduce nuts with ingredients to a very fine nut butter or old-fashioned or home style.
Produce a very smooth paste from nut splits with largest particle size with a Hegman reading of .004″ or 4-5 mm. Estimated 10,000 to 12,000 lb/hour rate.
Reduce nut butters. Reduce nuts and water for nut milks.
The 9310 features the highest capacity with the most powerful motor combined with the largest microcut head configuration.
