Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Domestic Invoicing Clerk to join our Customer Service team. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.

Urschel employee-owners design and manufacture industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries around the world from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment on a daily basis. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.

The Domestic Invoicing Clerk is responsible for reviewing shipped customer orders to ensure correct pricing, payment methods, and backorders, as well as managing invoices for all web/portal-based customers. This role also involves entering quotes and orders for project or engineering requests, processing invoices for credits, rebills, service calls, and service agreements, and maintaining customer records. Additionally, the clerk will provide backup support to other department employees as needed, including entering orders, and providing backup to the Receptionist desk.

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written, verbal, organizational, multi-tasking skills, computer skills, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Experience in customer service preferred.
