Urschel offers tomato slicers and other tomato processing equipment. Urschel tomato dicers offer small to intermediate size precise dices. Tomato dicers and pureeing equipment by Urschel Laboratories offer high throughput for canners and related industries.

Note: Hundreds of pounds per hour up to thousands of pounds per hour; capacities vary depending on condition of materials, method of feeding, and other variables. Where capacities are listed, it is assumed product will flow in a smooth, uninterrupted manner through an Urschel® machine that is in optimum condition. Capacities listed are an indication of potential results.

Below you will find our selection of tomato processing machines. Each of the following vegetable cutting machines offers different kinds of cuts.



Model CC    Slice thickness up to 1/2" (13 mm) using machine with knives and contact parts of stainless steel. Use firm tomatoes, either peeled or unpeeled, not exceeding 4" (102 mm) diameter. Approximate hourly capacity of 3/8" (9.5 mm) slices: 50,000 lb (13,600 kg) hourly.

Note: The centrifugal slicing principle of the CC Slicer does not provide for orientation of tomatoes.

E TranSlicer® Cutter   1/4, 3/8 or 1/2" (6.4, 9.5 or 13 mm) or other slice thickness.

DiversaCut 2110A™ Dicer    1/8 to 1" (3.2 to 25.4 mm) cubes and pieces such as 1/4 x 1/2 x 1" (3.2 x 6.4 x 25.4 mm). Approximate hourly capacity of 3/4" (19.1 mm) cube: 60,000 lb (22,000 kg).

DiversaCut Sprint® Dicer    1/8 to 1" (3.2 to 25.4 mm) cubes and pieces such as 1/4 x 1/2 x 1" (3.2 x 6.4 x 25.4 mm).

QuantiCut® Dicer    5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2" (4, 4.8, 6.4, 7.9, 9.5, 12.7 mm) cubes and pieces such as 1/8 x 1-1/2 x 1/4" (3.2 x 38 x 6.4 mm). Approximate hourly capacity of 3/4" (19 mm) cube: 60,000 lb (22,000 kg).

Model G-A    1/4, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4" (6.4, 9.5, 11, 13, 16 or 19 mm) cubes and pieces such as 1/2 x 3/4 x 3/4" (13 x 19 x 19 mm) or 1/2 x 1/2 x 1" (13 x 13 x 25 mm) from firm, peeled tomatoes, either fresh or canned. Use machine with stainless steel contact parts only and special chute for collecting juice. Approximate hourly capacity of 1/2" (13 mm) cuts: 20,000 lb (9,000 kg).

Model H-A    3/4, 7/8 and 1" (19, 22 and 25 mm) cubes and pieces as large as 1 x 1-3/4 x 1-3/4" (25 x 44 x 44, and pieces such as 1/4 x 3/4 x 3/4" (6.4 x 19 x 19 mm) or 3/4 x 1-1/2 x 1-1/2" (19 x 38 x 38 mm). Approximate hourly capacity of 3/4" (19 mm): 30,000 lb (13,500 kg). Requirements and specifications are otherwise similar to the G-A Dicer.

Model RA-A    1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, or 3/8" (3.2, 4.0, 4.8, 6.4, 8, or 9.5 mm) cubes, and pieces such as 1/8 x 1/8 x 1/4" (3.2 x 3.2 x 6.4 mm) or 3/16 x 3/8 x 3/8" (4.8 x 9.5 x 9.5 mm) from firm, green tomatoes for relish and special ingredient uses. Approximate hourly capacity of 1/8" (3.2 mm) at high setting: 10,000 lb (4,500 kg); 1/4" (6.4 mm) at slow speed: 5,000 lb (2,200 kg).

Comitrol® Processor Line    Puree and catsup using microcut heads as outlined under "Catsup".
