Maximum infeed dimension of 6" (152 mm). Model OV 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or 1" (3.2, 4.8, 6.4, 13, 19, 25 mm) shreds and slices from trimmed and cored head lettuce and leafy varieties like romaine. Approximate hourly capacity using wide top belt hold down: 3,000 lb (1,360 kg). Model G-A 1/2 x 7/8" or 1/2 x 1-1/2" (13 x 22 mm or 13 x 38 mm) or larger cuts for fresh salads. Trim and core lettuce and cut large heads so that pieces do not exceed 5-1/4" (130 mm). Approximate hourly capacity hourly at largest slice thickness setting: 3,000 lb (1,350 kg). Model H-A 3/4, 7/8 and 1" (19, 22 and 25 mm) cubes and pieces as large as 1 x 1-3/4 x 1-3/4" (25 x 44 x 44 mm) or 3/4 x 1-1/2 x 2" (19 x 38 x 51 mm) for fresh salads. Prepare lettuce as for the G-A Dicer. Approximate hourly capacity of 3/4" (19 mm) pieces: 4,500 lb (2,000 kg). Note: Gentle cutting action of the G-A and H-A Dicers produces cuts with attractive appearance and excellent storage properties due to absence of bruising. |
